Data necessary for the controller's employee recruitment and placement operations, as well as for the establishment and maintenance of employment relationships, is collected in the register. Data is also collected to provide and develop services related to this activity and to manage customer relationships. Personal data is processed in accordance with the Personal Data Act.<\/p><p>The collection of personal data is based on the consent given by the job applicant. The job applicant gives consent to the processing of their personal data as required by the privacy policy by accepting the privacy policy. If they wish, the job applicant can withdraw their consent to the processing of their personal data by clearing their personal data from their own Privacy tab in the system.<\/p><p><b>Recipients and recipient groups<\/b><br \/>The controller's personnel as well as Apuvoima Pirkanmaa Oy, A-Voima Tampere Oy, A-Voima Turku Oy, and outsourcing partners (payroll and accounting) where applicable. Job seeker information is sent to the controller's client companies to match job seekers and jobs.<\/p><p><strong>Consent<\/strong><b><br \/><\/b>According to Article 17 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the data subject has the right to be forgotten. The data subject has the right to request the erasure of their data if they no longer wish for their data to be processed. The controller has the obligation to erase the personal data without undue delay if there is no legal basis for retaining the data. The erasure request must be sent in writing and signed to the controller, or submitted in person at the controller's premises.<\/p><p><b>Register data content<\/b><br \/>The register may process information necessary for the purpose of the register, including data belonging to the following categories:<br \/>Basic information of the job applicant: name, contact information (address, email address, telephone number), date of birth, personal identity code, nationality, photograph, information concerning work permit and working hour restrictions, bank account details.<br \/>Education and experience: Education, profession, work experience, language skills, completed courses and certificates, potential special expertise, current and previous employments and their duration, quality as well as potential referees, occupational health information (only to the extent necessary for the job duties), driver's license information, and the possibility of using a car for work duties.<br \/>Job seeker preferences: information concerning the job seeker's job search, such as preferences regarding the applied job, salary expectation, desired workplace, and possible information related to the start and end of employment.<\/p><p><b>Regular data sources<\/b><br \/>The information collected from the job seeker consists of the application completed electronically by the job seeker and\/or the information provided by the job seeker in a possible interview. The information stored in the register can be modified by those employees of the data controller who have access rights to the register. The job seeker can modify their own name and contact information through the system using their personal credentials. Information related to the job seeker's previous or current employment relationship is also collected with the job seeker's consent based on feedback received from their employers.<\/p><p><b>Retention period for personal data<br \/><\/b>The data in the job applicant register is retained for 5 (five) years.<\/p><p><b>Regular disclosures of data<\/b><br \/>Personal data stored in the register that is necessary for employment purposes is disclosed, based on the jobseeker's consent, to employer organizations that are customers of the controller in order to bring jobseekers and employers together. The disclosure of personal data is based on the consent of the data subject.<\/p><p>In addition, personal data stored in the register is disclosed to authorities (who have a statutory right to obtain information from the register) as permitted and mandated by applicable legislation.<\/p><p><b>Transfer of data outside the EU or EEA<\/b><br \/>The registry data will not be transferred outside the EU or the EEA.<\/p><p><b>Principles of Register Security A: Manual Material<\/b><br \/>Personal data collected in the manual register is stored in locked storage facilities on the controller's premises. Access to the data in the manual register is restricted to persons whose duties require the processing of the register data.<\/p><p><b>Principles of register security B: Operations processed by ADP<\/b><br \/>Access to the register data is granted only to those persons and to the extent required by supervision of work, monitoring, payroll administration, or the management of other matters related to the employment relationship. The register is stored on a secure server located in Finland.<\/p><p>The protection and processing of the register's data comply with the provisions and principles of the Data Protection Act (1050\/2018) and the Information Society Code (917\/2014), regulations of authorities, and good data processing practice.<\/p><p><b>Right of inspection, meaning the right to access personal data.<\/b><br \/>The registered person has the right to check what information about them is in the register. The inspection request must be made in writing by contacting the company's customer service or the register's contact person in Finnish or English. The inspection request must be signed. The registered person has the right to prohibit the processing and disclosure of their information for direct advertising, distance selling, and direct marketing, as well as market and opinion research, by contacting the company's customer service point.<\/p><p><b>Right to data portability<br \/><\/b>The data subject has the right to transfer their own data from one system to another. The transfer request can be addressed to the contact person of the register.<\/p><p><b>Right to request rectification of data<\/b><br \/>Personal data in the register that is inaccurate, unnecessary, incomplete, or outdated in relation to the purpose of processing must be corrected, deleted, or supplemented.<\/p><p>A correction request must be made with a personally signed written request to the company's customer service or the administrator of the personal data file.<br \/>The request must specify what information is required to be corrected and on what grounds. The correction will be carried out without delay.<\/p><p>The correction of an error is notified to the person from whom the incorrect data was received or to whom the data has been disclosed. The person in charge of the register shall issue a written certificate of the refusal of a request for correction, stating the reasons why the request for correction has been refused. The data subject may refer the refusal to the Data Protection Ombudsman for resolution.<\/p><p><b>Right of restriction<br \/><\/b>The registered person has the right to request the restriction of data processing, for example, if the personal data in the register is incorrect. Please contact the person in charge of the register.<\/p><p><b>Right to object<br \/><\/b>The data subject has the right to request personal data concerning them, and the data subject has the right to request the rectification or erasure of personal data. Requests can be addressed to the contact person of the register.
